Green Bay, Wis. — May 5, 2026 — Four Leaf Communications® has officially secured federal trademark registration, marking a key milestone for the Green Bay-based public relations and marketing firm founded by longtime local media leader John Laughrin.

The registration, issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, provides legal protection for the Four Leaf Communications name and brand as the company continues to grow its presence across Northeast Wisconsin.

Four Leaf Communications launched in 2025 after Laughrin concluded a 25-year career in local television news, including leadership roles at WLUK, NBC 26, and WFRV in Green Bay. The company works with small and mid-sized organizations to strengthen visibility, refine messaging, and connect with local audiences through public relations, advertising strategy, and media placement.

The trademark registration ensures exclusive use of the Four Leaf Communications name in connection with advertising, public relations, and marketing services, reinforcing the company’s brand as it expands its client base.
